I just decided to put this up,so...yeah...Oh,just read it!
A few InuYasha fanfiction types I hate (these are but a few, by the way, and there are a lot I do like, but...let's just say I'm picky.These aren't in order):
1.:Kagome bashing: >.<
I'm not saying you don't have the right to feel that way, but please explain why you don't like her with logical reasons...i.e.: "She hit her head on a big rock and passed out!What a weakling!" doesn't cut it. (One of my friends uses that as a reason) Come on, people! Think about it! You'd do the same thing! I believe it's called 'blunt force trauma'. And to the excuse of her 'slutty' uniform-it isn't her fault, really. Those things are standard issue (her friends wear the exact same thing at pretty much the same length), and in real life the uniforms aren't that short, anime and manga artists just do that to add more physical appeal and such.
2.:OC 'over glorification': O_O You're KIDDING, right?
Sakura (cliche!) walks in with a big sword and Inuyasha feels a familiar aura about her. He looks into it and suddenly remembers the beautiful woman he was engaged to and madly in love with before he even heard Kikyo's name. Then he decides to confess his ultimate love and marry her, completely screwing over both Kagome AND Kikyo (whom I don't particularly like, but I respect her role and refrain from bashing). Screw that! Are you kidding?! ::Grabs a torch:: That I refuse to be tolerant of...it's just like that girl I ran into in an rp, who disregarded everything we were doing and had done and demanded that her rules be immediately followed. ex.:You hear a ring at the doorbell, answer it,and find me lying in a basket.Then you name me whatever you want (Liar! She started complaining about what we named her)and decide to adopt me. That just pisses me off. I'm not going to say 'so and so and so and so are meant to be!' but really, it's impractical and pretty much offensive to some people. Don't say: But that's fanfiction. I don't want to hear all the ridiculous whining. I say that a lot myself, and I'm just stating my opinion.
3.:OC Mary Sue-ing: Huh?
One word:Why? It's not very logical. Oh yeah. Kage enters the scene, kills InuYasha just because he feels like it, grabs Kagome, and runs...what?!
4.:Mary Sue-ing in General: -_-;; Oh,boy...
This usually happens with Kagome if it does happen in fanfics. For example, she trained with Midoriko in her dreams and surpassed her in power while simultaneously training with everyone in the group and becoming 'all powerful'. A common symptom of this would definitely be Kagome owning a carbon copy of everybody's weapon and a mini-Kirara.
