Job Interview Today
I had a job interview today. Hopefully, I presented myself in a favorable light. Since this was the first day of interviewing new candidates for the position, I should be hearing something by Friday.
If I land this job, I would be a Communications Coordinator. It's a support role for the Admissions Department. I wouldn't be the one doing the sales and telemarketing (that's a job for the student workers); rather I would be the one scouring the databases and preparing lists and communications for student recruitment. It involves a lot of data-entry. The hours are a little wonky, but I can live with that. And the benefits are amazing.
I really, really want this job. I've been turned away every where else, and the rejection really wears you down after a while. The longer you're jobless, the harder it is to get back on your feet. And I just want to get on with my life.
