Truly Sam Fucking Winchester!

It never occurred to me that Sam might have been able to hear what was going on--this is a gripping presentation of what he might haave been experiencing!

Yes, that's the Sam I love and obsess over!!!!

He probably couldn't hear but just had to explore the 'what-if-he-could' scenario. Knowing that Dean thinks he's dead and knowing what Dean would do in response was all the motivation he needed to fight.

And yes, it tis heartbreaking and definitely scary what our boys will do for each other and why I love them both so very much!!

I love this. Sam's POV. That he knows he has to go and rescue Dean; to save him from himself. I think you're dead right (pardon the pun) on Sam's motivation for getting to Dean. He was in full on save my brother mode and, sure, Corbin was gonna turn into a werewolf, but Sam fearing what Dean might do to himself if he truly believes that Sam is dead, is spot-on, perfect characterisation. Bravo. :)

A wonderful Sam POV from this episode! I like the idea that he had some sense that he wasn't dead, and I loved the idea that "He fights so hard to live because he doesn't want Dean to die." Perfect!

That line was the first one I wrote (and it's my favourite!!!) and the whole fic flowed from there, really easy and smooth.

Had this been when Dean was in hell or purgatory, I don't know if Sam would have fought as hard, both to live and to get to Dean.
