A dream almost 25 years in the making is about to come true!!!!
On Saturday February 24th, 2018 I'll be seeing David Duchovny in concert in Sydney. But that's not even the best part!!! I will also be doing a VIP Meet&Greet which includes a photo and auto and the soundcheck party!!!!!

I've been a massive fan since X-Files and have always wanted to meet him. He has been #1 on my MUST MEET list since I started going to cons 10 years ago and became aware that the possiblilty of meeting my TV and movie idols existed. He got bumped down (temporarily) to #3 when I discovered SPN and fell head over heels in love with Jared and Jensen. Having had the absolute pleasure of meeting J2 multiple times, DD reclaims his place at the top of my He's In My Country I Just Gotta Meet Him list.
#2 (soon to be #1!!!) is David Tennant if anyone is wondering!! :-)
Still I thought chances of meeting him would be super slim as he doesn't do many cons, just the occassional big US Comic Cons which I won't ever be able to afford to go. But after being able to meet so many of my favs in my own country and even my own hometown, (everyone from the original BSG actors to RDA, Ben Browder, Michael Shanks, John Barrowman and so so many others) I refused to give up all hope and will never say it's never gonna happen!!
When tickets went on sale a few months ago, I was broke and the VIP tix sold out really quickly. An dear friend of mine, Larisa, managed to buy 1 and I lamented (more like whined, actually LOL) how jealous I was that she was going to get to meet him and would she buy me a tour t-shirt.
Then this morning, I get a notification on FB that Larisa has tagged me in the post of someone who is selling 2 VIP tickets as they are going to SPNVegasCon instead. So I messaged the seller (expecting them to have been snapped up already -- the post was over an hour old) and within just a few minutes had arranged to buy one of the tickets. Robyn is even letting me pay her over a couple of paydays!! How awesome is that?? :-)
I've had a really stressful past couple of weeks and this couldn't have come at a better time to cheer me up and give me something awesome to look forward to after Xmas.
