i was meaning to write a couple of entries some weeks ago but stalling always won... i do love to write something but as i have said before... brain sometimes do not cooperate with typing fingers and nothing coherent will be produced. just like now... :P
haven't you been fascinated with the second world war? (please excuse me from my sudden change of topic... i am currently hearing a documentary about it hovering above me.) i don't want something like that to happen again but that war was something that spread-out to a lot of nation including mine. lot of losses, scarce wins for all parties and left a long lasting impression up until know. some people might have forgotten but it was something that we all must learn from. it was something so horrible and amazing at the same time, showcasing humanity's smarts and greed. we see man in his finest and worst hour.
i have been fascinated by this war since i started studying it in high school and much more when i took it in college with a professor who likes it the same way. i learned from it that, in war, everyone is right and anyone who is the enemy is wrong. axis thinks they are right and that the allies are wrong while the allies think that they are right and the axis is wrong. no one wants to admit that they are wrong, one way or another.
war casualties are losses that weren't meant to be.
