I have given just as glowing a review to my post-holiday shopping experience as, well, something I did last holiday season.
'Tis the season to be jolly! Weeee~
Also, I am very glad that I do not have to move anything big and heavy to and from the radio station's storage room --- now, BOTH of GC's elevators are dead. The one that only goes between floors 1 and 2 seems to just have a problem with the door actuator... like, it'll work if you pull the door closed after you as soon as it starts trying to close it automatically, but the one that leads to the smelly place out back and goes to all three floors is just hardcore DEAD. It's stuck there at the third floor with the doors open, and ignores all poking of buttons. I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that it was going up and down by itself the other night? ... Seriously, when I was up in the storage room cleaning stuff out, I could hear it constantly moving up and down even though I was the ONLY PERSON IN THE BUILDING! It would even sometimes come up to the third floor, ding, but not open the doors.... and then immediately go back down again.

Also, I love how some of MDTA's bus schedules have silly notes to the drivers on them... like, for instance, the destination sign codes. For instance:
