Catching up.
The semester has ended, the Summer session I have signed up for begins tomorrow. I will never have rest, it seems. I got straight As this semester, a feat I have never achieved before, and did not expect to due to my crazy work schedule. Perhaps working in the morning was exactly what I needed. I will have an intense 4 and a half weeks of Summer school coming up. It will be challenging since everything will be so accelerated, but if it is anything like the many other Summer classes I have taken, I should get through it all with relative ease.
I will be finished Summer school by the first week of July, which is something I greatly look forward to. I have so many plans I wish to set in motion. I want to make the most of my Summer break, since I know how ridiculously busy the next Fall semester is going to be with me being in a show and teching for another.
Things I wish to do this Summer:
1. Visit as many museums as I can...
The Egyptian Museum, the Tech Museum, the De Young, The Discovery Museum, Etc.
2. I also wish to go to Great America
3. I want to go on a trip to Disneyland for 4 days, if not in July....then August. Or maybe both.
4. Buy at least half of the Christmas presents I have planned for my loved ones, because I know I will not have much time when it is really getting close.
5. I want to go on a day trip to Half Moon bay.
6. I want to stay at a fancy hotel in the city.
7. I want to go on the wine train in Napa.
8. Read all the novels I have had stored.
9. Write my first screenplay (narrative already in the works)
10. Finish a film....or two.
Will I get to accomplish all these things? Probably not....but I will do my best to make a dent, damn it.
I want something to show for my free time.
