It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
All but three of my Christmas cards went out in the mail this morning; those that remain will be done tonight and sent off tomorrow. If you don't get a card from me soon, chances are I didn't send you one because I don't have your snail-mail address. Plaxo, people, Plaxo.
Half my Christmas shopping is done, thanks to Amazon.com, which even takes care of the wrapping. Neat!
I have to start baking cookies this Thursday--I promised to make some for my roommate to take to his team at work, and I also need to bake a good five dozen this weekend for the reception after midnight mass Christmas Eve. It looks like I'll be attending church four times this weekend--10:30 AM. on the fourth Sunday of Advent and 4:30 PM. on Christmas Eve to worship, and 10:30 PM. Christmas Eve and 10:30 AM. Christmas Day to acolyte. I'm such a good Christian boy when I want to be.
I'm thinking I'm going to be really obnoxious this year, and keep wishing everyone a Merry Christmas right up until the 6th of January (the Epiphany). After all, the 12 days of Christmas start on the 25th--they don't end there.
