Recent Days
Today has been an exciting day! Initial artist lineup was released for Bonnaroo 2006 as well as ticket info. They are going on sale a week from this Saturday! Seems a lot earlier than last year...it is probably going to sell out too because it is getting so popular but they are reducing festival capacity by about 10,000 tickets. No matter though, my parents are going to buy my ticket for my birthday present, they did the same thing last year and it worked out nice. We are already working out plans for an RV and a generator with lil' Jen. Time to start the planning! They announced a lot of bands today, but only a handful are actually headliners or bigger-name bands, a lot of stuff they listed is more local. Some of the acts I am the most pumped about:

Radiohead
Elvis Costello & the Imposters
Beck

Ben Folds!!
Bela Fleck & the Flecktones
Of course there are many more to be announced. They are saying 80+ total acts will be there. Umphrey's McGee BETTER be there again this year. I don't know why they wouldn't, they have played the festival every year since its inception, and they have only gotten bigger and better since then. Ahh!!!
Other than that news, things have been fantabulous lately. I am loving this semester, classes couldn't be going better and I am definitely enjoying cartography. My first map is getting close to being complete and it's really interesting learning how to do it. Most people would think making a map would be pretty easy (even on a computer in a graphic design software like we use) but OMG it is not. We've been working on this one for three weeks now (granted we are all new to this) but I'm considering specializing in cartography; we have an awesome cartography program. I can't get over how much better I feel about school now that I have changed my major. Things are going so much smoother.

Big changes are coming soon. Walker and I have been doing a lot of talking. Some BIG decisions have been made. It's weird. Things are about to be different. It's all going to happen so soon too. I can't wait!
