Critics' Choice

So - is the predictability of the awards a sign that critics can be as stereotyped in their own right as the Academy, or that the films might actually have some sort of merit to be recognized by all? I DEFinitely don't agree with the critics all the time (*coughJunocough*), but I could pretty much call every single award that was given last night based merely on what I anticipated the critics would do (rather than my own choices). However, I did think Daniel Day Lewis was completely adorable in his flustered state, which you think he'd be used to an awards environment. Yet, the edible award HAS to go to Javier Bardem, going from spine-chilling psycho to UTTERLY delectable in a *SNAP*. Something about him, probably his smile, was reminding me of Jeffrey Dean Morgan from P.S., I Love You... purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

BTW - if any ladies haven't seen PS, ILY yet, it's completely worth it just for the eye candy (and nekkid JDM!).....hehehehe.

Additional Resolution: Start movie review SOMETHING, even if it's just a blog.
