1) further to
The elderly frappuccino story, I foraged in the front of the florida fridge (this is where they live and found some veggie sushi. Ate a carrot sushi. Wondered why it tasted fermented. Best before 8/10. Brought it over to show Dad, who decided he liked the fermenty taste (admittedly, so had I before I realized its cause), ate a couple, and had me put it back in the fridge and its a few weeks younger california roll cousin in the freezer.
2) Sun's calmed down enough I think I might wander to the beach. Hard to motivate to change out of jeans, tee, sweater, given the AC level..
3) Mars needs women
Flyingfeet's current classes can use both men and women, though admittedly for different classes. Slightly low on men for Ballroom Sampler, and WAY low on women for Swing Sampler. 7:30 and 8:30 on Monday nights, Glen Echo. The group last night was quite fun.
3a) Yay, Naomi was okay with me joining the current Jam Cellar class next Tuesday in week 2.
4) Perhaps I should have slept more than 2 hrs last night. Plane companion was fascinating; we talked the entire trip. Her son sounds like a particularly astonishing person - at age 5 he decided he wanted something that cost $50, was told no, and somehow sent away for a fundraising kit and raised it - by himself - in a day. 50 sales. He raised $15K for Heiffer International, recently - rode across MD on his bike. Her own story reminds me how precious and precarious life is. Conversation ranged a whole lot of topics, and I do hope she keeps in touch.
5) I wonder if I can find shade on the beach...
6) Jut watched Bush's address. Hrm.
