It is late and my back and feet hurt and
wonderer, in the other bed, has an 8am tech call, so I shouldn't much write just now, but Btw, if you see me here at Arisia, I should probably warn you that certain topics will be difficult, and I may need to change subjects. Mom's final illness revealed itself at 4:30 am the night after last year's Arisia, and she died in early July. The vagaries of social media are such that not everybody knows the latter.
In other news, I suppose I have worked tech in that I helped set up 4 movie screens tonight, and held up a Syke (not sure how to spell it) and went old school cut and tape and xerox in order to make some temp blood drive appointment cards. It has so far been good.
Desperately tired. Feet hurt despite sensible shoes. Time for sleep.
Mind. Screwy mind. I've been keeping Cousin as primary Tetris piece because, as I have been telling people, he keeps not being in boston when I am, and hence I guess I haven't seen him since late 2012 in Israel.
I explained that to
r_ness a little bit ago, just before it hit me that no. Cousin came down to DC for several days in February, when we thought Mom would die on valentines day.
And what I remember now is that I could barely manage to reach him when she was dying, at the end of June.
Much more to write, but not just now.
