When I walked into the house I had a couple links I was planning on talking about, but nearly 7 hrs later I've forgotten what those were. OTOH, I find myself sorely tempted by
modern day wonder woman underoos that would likely fit except, $35 and detachable cape on the panties?
Today involved 6 miles walking and a mile biking, and a navy ship with instructions for in case of nuclear attack, and nearly watching the marine corps presidents own but ending up at Jazz in the Garden instead, and did you know that there's a Swift Boat down here at the Navy Yard, donated in 1998 by one Senator John Kerry? One highlight was when, after
johntnelson and I were dancing by the fountain, and at one point in the fountain, a couple came up to us after and told us how much fun it was to watch us. Perhaps they'll take up Swing Dancing or Blues.
I think I may need to give up on going to Shul tomorrow, as I'd kinda want to get there in about 6 hrs, ideally earlier.
A goodly amount of ZOMG it got late was from transcribing large amounts
of a podcast interview (a good hour) with the gent who was
arrested and tazered for, um, kinda hard to say No, srsly, the police didn't even give him an answer as to why they were arresting him until he was in the car.
this link has the police statement. He got his phone back 6 months later after charges were dropped on account of video and witness evidence of him doing nothing wrong; he's in the middle of filing a complaint. Apparently "I know my rights" isn't a very helpful thing to say to police, even if it's true and one speaks calmly;
http://www.flexyourrights.org suggests instead showing one knows.
On a lighter note,
have an imgur of 10 tweets by someone going by ludwig van baetoven.
Needs must get back to momapartment soon, as I accidentally left my swimsuit there. The pool brings back memories and other sorts of feels. But I'll write about that some other time.
Ok somehow have to get to sleep. It's been a good couple days.
