And I don't so much agree that it is rape culture that makes it hard for people to own when they may have screwed up, but instead, again, that I'm a good person, and violating consent rape is something only predators do rather gets in the way as well.
edit: changed that last line in italics to 'rape' vs 'violating consent' as I think there's at least some prayer of getting people to realize one doesn't have to be a predator to violate consent.
Also see the prior post just before this, re the sex ed and addressing rape culture brown bag. Teaching consent early and teaching bodily autonomy are good starts.
