1) I voted. 2) Yes, I'm going to be partisan here.
1) So I wandered over at like 9:30 to my local polling place and was #218. Given that the Mayor was pretty much decided in the primary and our congresscritters don't have a vote in Congress (though Norton does get a vote in committee) I guess this isn't all that surprising.
2) Last night I made some calls to Arizona for Get Out The Vote, until I started coughing too much and really needed to go to bed anyway; BarakObama.com probably has some last minute stuff going on right now if anybody's bored and feels like mostly hanging up when they hit voicemail.
3) This video, "I'm not voting Republican, 'cause I remember . . . " is very well done:
4) It makes me really sad that what the Dems did accomplish in the last couple years has been so underplayed; The Onion so totally has it right.
5) Much as Iran released the hostages on the day of Reagan's inauguaral, Dad fully expects the banks to suddenly start lending that trillion bucks they've been sitting on, just to make it look like the Change In Power enabled it.
6) OTOH, if Angle and O'Donnell and Rand Paul all get in, the Republicans will have quite the hard time keeping their folk in lock-step. I guess that'll be something.
