Six Degrees

For those out there in LJ land who don't know, I'm an Improv performer. I was trained at SAK Comedy Lab here in Orlando, where I perform every Wednesday night at 9pm. Some friends from there and myself have formed our own little troupe called Six Degrees, and we now have a regular venue. We perform biweekly at Austin's Coffee and Video on Fairbanks avenue. It's every other Sunday at 10pm. It's the cutest little venue, and the crowds are wonderful. The troupe is wonderful, as well. They are some of the most talented Improvisors around here, I think. Well, tonight was one of those Sundays, and the show was GREAT!

I'm really starting to think it's going to go somewhere. This Improv thing I mean. It's really just a hobby of mine, but you know, I think we're really good. And some friends of mine are coming to the shows now. A co-worker, and some other folks that are involved in other performing arts that I know. It's great. It's kind of like having a following. :)

Anyway, if anyone out there wants to see it, we'll be on in another two weeks. There is an hour of spoken word before us, from 9-10. That's pretty damned cool, too. And the coffee is great. THey serve some alcohol even. :)

Cheerio.
