ClearChannel Sucks
Once I heard that CC pulled Howard AND Bubba off the air, I was so pissed off, and in a grumpy mood besides, I wrote this to pr@clearchannel.com:
ClearChannel,
I wanted to express my sincere disapproval regarding your new censorship
policies that have removed Bubba "The Love Sponge" from Tampa's radio, and now
Howard Stern from my Orlando station, Real Radio 104.1. Your conservative
efforts do not reflect the opinions of the majority, and undermine the freedom
of speech that this country is built on.
If mom and pop Christian-Conservative-Republican don't want to hear Howard's
Fart-Man tales, or Bubba's drug and sex lessons, turn off the radio. If mom
and pop Christian-Conservative-Republican don't want their kids hearing it,
they should learn how to parent and monitor their children.
Parenting and monitoring isn't ClearChannel's job. ClearChannel's job is
bringing the content listeners want to hear to the airwaves.
