Good Morning!
I am determined to be productive today. I have this bad habit of getting up early, having breakfast, and then... going back to bed until lunch time. Not productive. Today: Up early, breakfast had, enjoying coffee *sip*, posting to LJ and then stuck into work for Don *nods vigourously*.
And when I get sleepy, I'm going to the gym! *nods vigourously*
As to other things - the news is full of terrible and depressing shit lately. Like the nine year old in Brazil who was raped by her step-father, became pregnant with twins, had them aborted and is now facing excommunication from the Catholic Church because quote: Abortion is a much more serious crime than rape. WTF!!!!!
Disclaimer: FYI I am christened Catholic myself. Went to Catholic schools. Read the entire Bible in my own time through my teens - and came to the conclusion it was written by a bunch of men from another time, who may have been hearing God, but weren't neccesarily Listening.
Anyway. Next thing I read this morning: Vatican says washing machine brought rights to women
Gee, so we have to be grateful to the washing machine for making our lives easier? Or more efficient - because now we can get more washing done each week... /sarcasm.
Actually, now I think about it, I am thankful for the washing machine. I've lived in places without electricity and had to hand wash everything. Its not fun. Although its great for toning the upper arms :P
