Another day in P.N.G.
My father manages the ground operations for a local airline at our airport. Today he told me a customer came in a few weeks ago asking to buy a ticket for a "girl who was travelling with a coffin". A ticket was arranged. When the girl showed up a few days later, well it was actually the guy who purchased her ticket... wanting to check in the girl *in* the coffin. Yes, the girl was deceased and it took a while to clear up the confusion about transporting a person in a coffin on an airplane.
Sad but true.
