I was also thinking of introducing you to some new anime. ^_____^ Since you're all fired up now about AX '07 and all that! I'll upload some episodes of Bleach and Ergo Proxy. They're in Japanese with English subtitles though; hope you don't mind.
I think you'd like Bleach. The main character is the spiky-orange-haired guy I posted yesterday. He's cool and he gains a lot of powers as the series goes on. Ergo Proxy might be a bit too dark for you, but it's interesting nevertheless and you can tell me if you like it or not.
O rly? Hmm. I see what you mean; I actually meant dark as in "the animation is dark-ish" and the storyline is kinda slow and plods along, etc...but it's interesting, nevertheless, so I'll still send you some links.
^^ I mentioned AX to John yesterday, and he was like, "OH, I want to see everyone's costumes, blah blah." o_O Iiiiinteresting. I think he wants to go only to check up on me and make sure I'm not misbehaving. ^^;;
