Joscelin went to London to visit his brother Laurens over the weekend (and to go to a meeting of the Beltane Knights, I'm quite sure), and he has come back with a boy. A boy who looks eerily like Laurens' friend Jameson Wilkes.

Of course the boy is a student, and his name is Eliezer Frankel. But it's still funny. Joscelin doesn't even keep a familiar because he comes and goes so often, and now he's got a boy living in his quarters. I tried to talk to him, but he's terrified of me.

Priscilla hasn't written in weeks. I think that is probably because I forgot to answer her letters. I hope she's not too angry with me. I suppose I really ought to go and have dinner with her and with Ned, but she is always trying to set me up and it's very annoying. I really do not want to get married, and if I did, I wouldn't marry anyone who worked for Ned, because I can never shake the feeling that Ned's people all care more about him and about one another than they could ever care for anyone else. Especially that Scalara woman, although she is ever so much pleasanter than her sister, who is decidedly annoying at staff meetings.

I really do need to answer that one letter about Miss Rosier, though. I suppose I actually ought to go and visit them.
