I have decided that I do not like alternate universe fics about real life people. It makes even less sense than the characters getting together in the first place. Well, admittedly I've only just begun looking into this kind of stuff and have had the misfortune of being unable to stumble into a well written AU RL character fic. So I suppose the reason the characterizations are off has to do with me being on the surface level.
