Ever have a dream that you wish you could make real?
Many people have dreams; and not the ones you get when you fall asleep.. I mean the dreams and aspirations you made when you were a kid. Dreams like wanting to be a doctor, a fireman, or even a super hero.. But back when I was younger I came across a TV show that aired on the WB network called... The Road Rovers. This show was beyond awesome and it became my dream to be one of them I even started drawing my already created furry persona Duncan as one of the elite Rovers in those snazzy tights. Sadly after 13 episodes it was taken off the air. I was heartbroken... I figured it would be the last I ever hear about them until one day while browsing the internet I came across A road rover fandom which allowed me to continue enjoying one of my favorite furry shows as well as meet other fans and get involved with other facets of fandoming, like drawing commissions and role-playing. However the day eventually came when the fandoms came to an end as well and I eventually given up my dream.. Until today... Well... Yesterday to be exact >.>
It was that day when my dream came to life.. Or in this case SecondLife. Someone there by the name of Chad Captane [ not Captain] was able to begin building a reconstruction of Road Rover Mission Control with a storyline behind it regarding our old Nemesis Lt. Parvo! He has also founded a group dedicated for them as well. The build is still incomplete due to he being the only one working on it and because he is limited to prim [objects] that he can place in a sim [land mass]. This is call to arms for all my old rover friends and to anyone who had a love for the silver and blue of the Road Rover uniform. I know its been quite a long time since the name Road Rovers and "To the power of the pack!" were ever muttered from someones lips. But I know deep inside of me there is still a place where the howls of the dogs of war still cry. Begging to bring peace to the world.. And squeaky toys shaped like bananas... B-a-n-a-n-a-s.. *coughs* >.> But if you wish to join and help rebuild what was lost. Send me a message and I will let Chad know.
