Lion King 1 1/2
Just saw the movie, it was.... decent I guess, but I don't really feel it should be called Lion King. It's more like the series Timon and Pumbaa, which I never really liked in the first place, so....
The humor wasn't all that great, you know, just simple stuff that you expect kids to laugh at. I did like how they were part of the scenes in the first movie, like when all the animals were bowing down or how the animals all fell over when Simba was singing his song. Their music wasn't all that great too. So in the end, it was just a bad spin off of the first movie with commentaries or something.
It was more focused on Timon too, and I never really liked Timon. >.>
The best moment in the movie? When Timon proposes to Shenzi the Hyena. (Which I loved the fact that she's a girl.) Best scene ever, since it's implied interspecies relationship even though it was only for LOLz and that Timon really needed that distraction.
I just realized how adorable Pumbaa was. So adorable. X3
Simon was being a cheeky brat. Not that he wasn't in the first Lion King.
Nicole and I were discussing how we liked the second Lion King, which was strange since sequels are always supposed to suck, or if they don't the first would still prevail. We were both wondering why we liked the first Lion King so much. ._.
Anyways, I liked the ending. Not the ending of their story, but when everyone else wanted to come in and watch the movie. Mickey, lols. I think Snow White sounded like Minnie. ._.
