Ryotou knows a lot of things and many things about those things. Having the gift of absolute insight helps in that regard.
He knows what medicine an animal may need as soon as he lays eyes upon it, as well as the earliest ancestors to date of the animal, the number of hairs on the average head of it's type, it's numerous possible diseases, the most common as well as rarest of illnesses it could have, where every single muscle should be, the native place of said animal and the list goes on.
Ryotou knows that Inu is much smarter than he looks and can sense things that most nurse dogs would never of been able to pick up, as well as deal with the many things that a R.E.D nurse dog encounters that they would never dare.
He knows that with careful placed threats and a few sinister smiles here and there Inu will never tell on his penchant for slacking off to read the latest issue of Shounen Jump. He also knows to often treat the little dog out, so as not to harm his psyche and show that yes, he does like Inu as more than a possible substitute meal.
Ryotou knows that Senou-san would like to be more than just an assistant to Tesshou, but never acts. He knows that she knows how to perfectly deal with his eccentricities as well as hand him what he needs before he even requests as such.
He knows that Senou-san is very beautiful and smart, perhaps smarter than he initially gave her credit for with the way she easily see's past his usual little fronts and taunts. He knows she will never say anything, because he knows her secrets, too.
Ryotou knows that Hisataka is quite the devoted fan of his work. He knows that the young man idolizes him to a point where he will one day be gravely disappointed. Ryotou hopes it will not too big of a blow, but knows that it is unlikely the case.
He knows that Hisataka never grew up with someone showing him how to care for the person rather than who they are. He knows that by cleverly hinting at his whereabouts that Hisataka, in all of his stalker fan boy glory, will track him down, rise to the bait of Tesshou being a better vet and learn something from Tesshou.
He knows that Hisataka will be better off for it in more ways than one.
Ryotou knows that Tesshou has the amazing ability and natural talent needed to become the world's greatest veterinarian, far better than even himself. He knows that with a little taunting and teasing and pressure his skills will soon blossom into something fantastic. He also knows that the taunting, teasing and little bits of pressure aren't entirely altruistic on his part.
He also knows that there may come a day, some day soon, where his taunts won't work as well as before. Tesshou will of become used to them and won't rise to the bait.
When that day comes, Ryotou knows that he will deeply enjoy coming up with new ways to tease and carefully ensnare the lovely little blond idiot.
