Concert For Helping Hands
For those of you that missed it, Concert For Helping Hands was one rockin good time! We successfully played three and a half hours worth of music. I got to butcher a few songs on vocals, but redeemed myself on This Boy per Joe's request. I also was forced into a 5 minute long drum solo because Joe left the stage and even when he came back, he was still like, keep going! Whatever. It was ok. I thought the Karaoke was a lot of fun in most cases. We had some interesting selections. And most importantly we were able to raise $1,110 for Helping Hands of Charlotte. Wal-Mart is matching that donation up to $1000, so in total we raised $2,110. Awesome. Apparently Joe wants to do it again next year, so look forward to that. He might twist my arm into playing again.
