Here is my revoltingly overdue LJ update. After enduring four weeks crammed full of five exams, I have emerged as a blubbering sub-human with a severely challenged vocabulary (Is unpossible a word?)
I actually really enjoyed my exams though and am sad that I must wait another four months for more! I attempted to go through the post-exam ritual of cheap champagne and erratic squealing but I ended up cleaning my house instead. It felt just as good. I went to the bottle shop before my final Indonesian exam and purchased a bottle of their finest passion pop. I had it placed on my desk at the beginning of my exam so I could gain inspiration to get me through, but I was promptly instructed by the old-aged, liberal-voting invigilators that all non-approved items must placed under the desk during the exam. So I completed my exam whilst fondling the bottle with my toes.
Now Ayla and I are on holidays. We danced and spun our way onto the virgin aircraft and 45 minutes later, we found ourselves singing and twirling our way through the Sydney airport. Since arriving in Wollongong I've been struck hard by my lazy gene. As a result, my usual urge to run naked through the forest has been out-competed by the state of nirvana which I have attained through spending entire days collapsed in bed, wrapped in the arms of Margaret Atwood, sustained only by brandy, lime and processed cheese.
justaprimate refers to me by my "latin name" which he has designed for me: Laziforous whorosa. I remain completely immersed in laziness.
My arrival here has also been marked by no shortage of physical pain. I have sustained an injury to my left breast (don't ask) and have also managed to split open the skin on my shin bone.
I send my regards to the beautiful Craig who I am still yet to call back in my rush to Sydney. I hope that your skeletal system is holding up and I hope that the lovely Nettie is pumping you full of turbo charged dairy products!! Am looking forward to catch-ups ASAP - after I return on the 5th.
xoxoxox love to the furry boys at Dallas Ave, and even more love to the lovely maiden who rules the roost in my absence xoxoxoxoxox
