Welp, the rating on the Bone-Fiddle-verse drabble collection at AO3 was already Mature, but it's going up!

A continuation of the "Setting the Tone" series of 221B drabbles - around midnight at New Year's Eve, 1973/74. Dedicated to write_out.

John's first time that way has been written, but not yet posted; it happens in the sequel that htebazytook and I are working on. It happens sometime between Thanksgiving and New Year's, that's all I'll say.

This is the second time. :D

oh yay! I thought I was missing something. Now I'm looking forward to your sequel even more :D (cos I remember the splat series and then there was the horse riding to rescue John from the tornado one, and I was wondering if it was either of those instances). I'm a sucker for first times. And now I just feel like re-reading The Bone Fiddle all over again. (and what a very nice second time that was)

Okay, that video on shooting anvils is just cool. And it's neat how it lands in nearly the same spot where it took off - I bet physics teachers love him!

Isn't it awesome? And totally potentially deadly if done by drunken idiots. You wouldn't think it would be possible to die by falling anvil outside of a Loony Tunes cartoon, but it turns out, it totally is.
