Summary: Misa knows that Raito's kisses are meaningless but she still craves them.
Misa knew that his kisses were almost meaningless. Almost. No matter how unimportant they were for him she always cherished his kisses.
Misa knew that she was in love with a false illusion. She was not that stupid. She knew that she was blindly following and obeying a man that did not truly love her. She knew all of this and still she continued to give everything she had to him.
Her excuse was because he got revenge on the person who killed her parents and shattered her family. To have her parents taken away from her was devastating. She knew that there was no way that Raito could have known about this, but when she found out what Kira had done she felt like justice had been done. That was when she promised to give everything she had to Kira and do anything she could for Kira.
Now she stayed with Kira, with Raito, because she loved him. She still believed that he was justice and that he could make the world a better place, and for that Misa loved Raito. For that Misa wanted, needed, his kisses. She needed to be useful in some way less he toss her aside. His kisses were her way of knowing that he still accepted her there, by his side.
