Well, I just got around to writing this insane long journal about my one day trip affair. Hope you guys don't get bored too easily~
Okay, so I started the trip to St. Louis with one of my besties, Sarah at freakin' 9 in the morning. We had 6 hours to drive. We are broke asses and can't afford a hotel, so not only was I driving 6 hours there, but driving 6 hours straight back after the show. Joyous day! But it was okay;
I drank and drive [juice] and had plenty of Swedish Fish to and from the concert. Reminds me of Ell-tan~ <3
So, we finally get there around 4-ish. The doors don't open until 7, OR SO WE THOUGHT. There is a bar attached to the venue so they let people 21+ get in and stand in line for early entrance. Sarah and I were first in line~ I got first in right after VIP.
Oh right. Here are some pictures of the fancy hotel we got to pee in when we got to St. Louis:
So, we are waiting in line and some dude comes up to me saying he needs my help with something. I was all, "sure, as long as I get my spot back." And he said yeah. So I went with him and he said I was going to be in photo's. He wanted Sarah too so I had to grab her and bring her with. The guy went and got two more chics and brought us to this tall, like, TALL lean blond dude at a DJ stand. His name was DJ Koolie/Coolie and they were taking his facebook and Myspace photo's and we had to be in 'em. We had to be all over him. LOL. I had to touch his chest and wrap my hand around his leg, almost touching this poor shy guy's balls. He was from Finland and had the most amazing accent. We all kept laughing and he was giggling and kept saying thank you. I gotta keep looking to see when they post them. Then at like the very last song Apocalyptica played last night, introducing the members, WE FIND OUT THEIR DRUMMER WAS DJ COOLIE!!! He looked so much different. I felt awesome because I met a rock star.
The opening band, Evaline, was so good and energetic for an opening band. They were so sweet and nice too!! The singer came and leaned on the metal railing divider thing [can't remember the name right now], and he was singing to me, this annoying girl by me, Sarah and this guy that was in front of me helping hold him up. He let us/wanted us to touch him, so we did. LOL I petted him. Then at the end of the show he jumped to us, but like not very crowd surf area, so I had to like catch him. I didn't want him falling. So he gave me a big hug. I talked with them after the show, bought a CD and had them sign it. I mainly spoke with the drummer. He was soooo nice and they were all so sweet. I felt bad because no one was talking to them. ;3;
So anyway, I took over 100 photo's of the show. I was so close. It felt freaking amazing to be that close to the amazing Kyo, adorable Totchi, and Old Stern Man Kaoru. I got spit on by Kyo... LOL So good. Here are my favorite images/the best ones of the night:
I love this one because it looks like Kyo and Toshiya are dancing all choreographed... LOL
Look at Kyo rock out that boner. LOL Had it the minute he got on stage.
And now three of my favs:
The first, I just really love how Kyo's body looks. The curve of it is just beautiful... The second, I'm so happy! He finally showed us his back at the last song. Someone's camera gave a flash and I magically timed it right to take the pic so I could see his amazing back tattoo. It was gorgeous.

Kyo didn't do Agitated Scream of Maggots, but instead did this little number which is Inward Scream I believe. I only recorded the back end of it, but I think my friend recorded it all. I gotta get it later. I freaking love and adore this.... It's sooo haunting... Ugh. That man is amazing.
So, some events during their time that you can enjoy while looking at those images. After the second song I believe, it had gotten quiet as they got ready for the third one. I seized the opportunity to scream at Kyo, "SHOW US YOUR NEW TATTOO!", and the crowd started screaming and cheering after that... Kyo then took his shirt off... LOL
I had snot nosed 13 year old girls on one side of me. Talk about wanting to shoot someone. It was so bad waiting for Diru to come on. There was a guy behind me that acting like he was the Dir en Grey guru and shit talk their VK days. In my opinion, I feel you have to appreciate where they came from to love how they are now. I love their VK music, it was so much more experimental and expressive. ANYWAY, the teenagers. There was a transition between songs were it got kinda quiet, and this little 13 year old shit yells, "Kyo, you're so adorable!!" I wanted to face palm and the people around me did not enjoy her either. I looked at her and was like, "I hope he comes down here and kicks your ass for saying that..." Of course, he did not... But it all grav, Baby.
This show was great because they interacted more. The girl in front of me and I started a conversation before Diru went on and she mentioned how all five members were at the signing [which I'm still so jealous of and which I had 100 bucks to shit out so I could have gotten the VIP package]. She was actually from Atlanta and we both had gone to the Atlanta show two years ago, which I thought was so funny. But anyway, she said something about them possibly getting a new/better American PR and told them to interact with fans more because of the language barrier. It would make sense because all the members [set aside poor shy drummer, Shinya] interacted with us. Kaoru and Toshiya were all like, "louder louder" or, "come on!". Die was like that as well. Kyo actually was pointing to people in the crowd and then pointing back to his eyes. Then at the end, he pointed to all of us and did the little bro fist thing to his chest. It was so awesome and funny/cute... LOL
So, they did their little encore number and what not. Now it was time to throw us loyal audience members some goods. I was close in getting Shinya's drumstick. ;^; It was right by me but damn. Well, Toshiya threw like one pick and walked off with Kyo and Shinya. Die came to our side and threw a pick right beside me. Well, we are all trying to find it. The guy behind me is like, "I GOT IT I GOT IT!" and is looking at his hands. Well, everyone was looking at his hands as well, and I happened to look at the floor and find Die's red pick! I dive bombed that shit and grabbed it. I looked at my friend and screamed, "I GOT IT! I GOT DAISUKE'S FUCKING PICK!". Then Kaoru was throwing picks at us and they both left the stage. Then people were starting to walk away and I looked to the left of me and BAM, so myself a shiny Kaoru pick. Dive bombed that and looked at Sarah, "I GOT KAORU'S PICK TOO! I GOT TWO FUCKING PICKS!" Some fat ol' bitch lady that smoked by Sarah and me while we were waiting in line was like, "That's the one that hit me!!". I was like, "stfu I don't care *stuffs in pocket*" Then I thought I lost these fucking picks when I went to buy a t-shirt and couldn't find them in my pocket. They were hiding in my money. LOL
All I remember from the set list was as follows: [not in order]

All in all, amazing freaking show. Driving home was a bitch and a half though. I drank one of those 5 hour energy shot drinks to make it home. Now I'm paying for it. We got home around 6, took a little 40 minute nap at 6:30 and returned the rental car. Came back and fell asleep at 9-ish. Woke up at 12 with insane nausea attack. I took a shower and laid in bed till about 1:30. I'm still so freaking nauseous. I hope it goes away. I don't want to try to sleep with it. Right, so yeah. Past 40 hours, 4 hours of sleep. ALL TO WRITE THIS JOURNAL!! Enjoy. <3 Sleep soonish.
