[Currently, the event is going on in full force, and Adell knows well and good he's affected by it.  But what he doesn't know is that thought bubbles can appear above your head even while you sleep.  Now, normally this would be a non-issue considering he normally doesn't nap and has his own room.  But a problem occurs; last night, he didn't get

[In the blink of an eye, Adell lunges forward with a heroic shout. Getting into melee with the steel soldiers, the warrior delivers a staggering, flaming attack to the chin of one them. The jaw breaks off cleanly, sparks and electricity dancing off it as the robot staggers back.

What follows are several more attacks directed at these machines. Adell manages to wreck many of them, but he's struck back several times himself. From one particular blow, he skids back, his lip bloodied. Unknown to him, however, is the robot who flanked over toward the side, heading toward Charlotte quickly.

"...Adell!!"

He spins around to see the robot draw nearer to her... but before he can lunge to attack, the loud roar of an engine pierces the otherwise quiet room. In an instant, a motorcycle and a black-clad rider breaks through the massive ballroom window, sending shards of glass everywhere...

And when the rider enters the ballroom proper, she pulls her bike into a wheelie, as it collides with the robot, literally punching it in the face with the front tire, sending it flying and disabling it as it crashes through a wall.

The cyclist then stops and drops the front wheel to the ground... revealing that the rider is wearing Celty's trademark yellow cat-ear helmet.]

[Celty revs up the engine on the motorcycle and races toward a group of three of them, raising the front wheel again to strike the lead machine in the face, bowling him into the second. And then in a feat of ridiculous physics, drops the wheel back down, pulls a 180 degree turn, then lifts the back wheel up, smashing it into the chest of another. She drops the back wheel back down, then drives closer to Charlotte before dropping the cycle's acceleration back down to idle.

Adell, in the meantime keeps himself between the advancing machines and Charlotte. But seeing Celty drive back closer to them, he quickly calls out: "Celty! Get the Empress out of here! I'll buy you the time you need!"

Celty's reply comes in a nod, and she motions for Charlotte to get on her motorcycle with her. Charlotte briefly hesitates, and glances over to the fighter. "...Please be careful, Adell!"

"I'll be fine! Just go!" Adell shouts back, trying to sound reassuring. She nods once in reply, and does as told. Once aboard, Celty guns the engine and races out of the palace's ball room, leaving Adell with a handful of metallic soldiers left to deal with...]
