[Another day, another arduous training session. Well, it'd be much more strenuous if it weren't pouring down rain. Normally Adell wouldn't mind training in driving rain. [Terra's passing the barracks, not wearing a raincoat but holding an umbrella. Evidently she couldn't stay inside, either. She turns to pause and glance over at the barracks, debating training or lunch, when a gust of wind turns it inside out and tears it out of her hand. She eeps and darts over to catch it.]

[At this time, Adell steps out of the barracks into the rain, hood over his head. And he sees an umbrella fly toward him, followed closely by Terra. This was a surprise. Being him, he'll try to recover it for her. If he does, he'll hand it right back over.]

[Terra skids to a stop as Adell beats her to it, not wanting to crash into him. She takes it back with a rueful smile.]

Not really. Pretty dead in there today. Stahn was there, but he and I didn't spar. It was just the normal drills and stuff today. Nothing exciting, sadly. How about you? How's your day been?

It hasn't been that interesting for me, either, just catching up on some homework. I was hoping to find out more about that dueling club, but I still haven't heard anything over the journals. I did get some interested responses before people found it was just for magic, so maybe when things are -relatively- more peaceful, a non-magic version could happen.

Most likely. It's not like we allow for many limits, but I don't know if everyone would want to be the same way.

[He puts a hand to his head as though he would scratch the back of it, but all it connects to is his hood. With a grimace, he just returns his hand to his side as he walks.]

Hmmm. Not off the top of my head. I'd have no idea how do any of that stuff. ...Maybe Flynn might be willing to do it if he's got the spare time. He was a leader of knights in his homeworld, he's probably capable of throwing together a simple meeting.

Sparring's definitely something I can say is fun. Real fighting, though? Eh... I'm not as fond of it.

[...In a way, what he's saying is true. Adell would much rather fight non-lethally on level terms, but... his baser instincts often crave the excitement and rush of a real, genuine fight. It was a part of himself he frequently denied having when called out because it was more of a subconscious element; something he was just never truly aware of...]
