[It seems Adell's gotten himself into the masks during the chaos of the event, even though he's busy trying to coordinate any sort of plans to deal with the moon.  Either way, he can be found roaming the village in a number of forms.

28th, Wooden Mask?

[Sometime late in the afternoon, Rydia's heading down the street on the way to the grocery store. She currently has on the All-Night Mask. Given that it's only been on since early this morning, it hasn't started to affect her too much. She's just made a little more prone to crankiness, but then the week itself is doing an excellent job of provoking that.]

[And well, here's Adell popping out from a tree canopy, upside down, green in the face due to the mask's effects. He's wearing a cartoonish grin on his face, that might have a touch of derangement in it.]

Fancy seein' you here, Ryds!

[Yup. Something's already off.]

[Said automatically as she stares warily up at him.]

Dare I ask what you're doing?

Hangin' around, of course! Better than the alternative way!

[And with that a noose falls out of the other side of the tree.]

...Huh. That wasn't there a second ago.

29th, Couples Mask!

[This mask is terrible, why won't it come off?! All she's been wanting these last few days are hugs and... This isn't what a youkai should be craving. As such, Yuuka is in quite a foul mood.

Trying her best to avoid running into anyone as she makes a trip into the village, crossing the plaza quickly. If she spots someone she'll be wanting a hug and... Ugh. It's almost sickening really.]

[Unfortunately for her, there is someone in the plaza, and Yuuka's at least familiar with him. ...And right now he appears to be in a similar boat; if nothing else, he's stuck wearing the same mask as she is.

But he hasn't yet noticed her presence. He's busy looking around at the stores, as if he's debating if he really wants to go in.

...Doesn't he make the most perfect target for the Couples Mask she's wearing right now?]

[No, he definitely doesn't. Just going to keep walking-- Ah. Damn. She ended up catching sight of him out of the corner of her eye. She stands perfectly still for a moment. Just keep walking, don't do it...

Sadly, the mask wins out. A hug would be really good about now. Marching over towards Adell, a smile present as always beneath the mask she's wearing.]

Ah, Adell. So we meet again, and under such terrible circumstances. [Terrible in that oh God she has her arms spread out as she walks. This guy is happening right now.]

[He turns at Yuuka's voice, seeing her arms wide open for an embrace. His own Couple's Mask is quick to shout at him that this should not be passed up. So Adell spreads his own arms wide despite his own resistance and approaches Yuuka... where they'll inevitably meet in an embrace.]

Hello, Yuuka. ...What's worse, being stuck with these damn masks or the goddamn moon looking to crash into us?

I like Lulz.

[And Adell is on the scene, laying lazily on a park bench near the tea shop, looking cartoonishly bored. That is, until he sees Fatima in the distance, and suddenly closes the gap in nearly the blink of an eye.]

Looks like you got a new face on ya. Oooh, I like that one, got so much more of the [And at this, Adell's presence causes the light in the area to dim, inevitably making her vanish.] 'dark' thing going on.... Hey?! Where'd you go, Fatima?!

[And that's when that cartoony, exaggerated darkness fades around him, putting her back into light. But when she reappears, he jumps back, startled.]

Aaah! Should've known you were good at disappearing tricks!

[Adell gets up close to look at the designs on the mask. Much closer than he'd usually get, but there's just enough distance that he's not right in her face.]

Huh! That's a neat trick, I guess. But look what I can do!

[He takes a couple of steps away from her and then from behind his back, he draws a comically oversized wooden mallet.]

For dealing with the obnoxious neighbor, or overbearing mother-in-law!

Very yes.

[He quickly cranes his neck at Daisy's voice, looking right at her, somehow seeing her through the mask.]

Hey Daisy. How are ya?

[...And he'll draw closer. The mask is urging him constantly, telling him that the SPARTAN would make a great hug partner...]

Understood. Once this mess gets taken care of, just say the word.

[He can see he's making her a little uncomfortable. ...Probably more than a little. The mask's compelling force is quickly becoming overpowering...]

Kind of. ...I'm sorry if this bothers you. Bear with me.

[Adell extends his arms and wraps Daisy into a... surprisingly gentle embrace. It might be surprising for someone as powerful and strong as him to have such a light touch.]

[I'm going to pick your Mask of Truth because no one else did. Well, she's just collecting moon rocks and masks and stuff and- there's that ridiculous mask on the mass of red hair. Oh. So that's Adell. :I

[He'll wave back to her and approach, seeing her pick up a stone.]

Hey, Haruhi. ...What do you have there, anyway?

A rock.

[Into the sac it goes]

I can see that much. [Smartass.] But why are you collecting rocks? I figured that'd be way too boring for you.

[Because let's face it, rocks are boring and Haruhi's never been the one to tolerate any hobby that isn't exciting.]
