[The last day of fighting.  It's been going on for so long now, and it's been a state of constant battle since it started for Adell.  He's been fighting almost every waking hour so others didn't have to, stopping only to eat and sleep when he was running low on energy.  By now, his body's getting pretty tired.

But things aren't over yet, and the

[Even if she has absolutely no idea what guns are? The sounds of battle are still pretty similar. And this is getting a little ridiculous in scope.

Which has her running onto the scene of this mansion here.]

[When Mia arrives, she's treated to the sight of the simulated Rozalin and Adell at a temporary standstill, several yards away from each other. They look to be sizing each other up again, and Adell initially looks hesitant to engage.

...Until Rozalin raises her weapon, a small, pink gun and points it his way... and pulls the trigger.

This instantly sends Adell into evasive maneuvers as blue energy blasts lance out from the weapon's barrel. Adell's speed is the only thing that stops him from being hit; and his speed is easily supernatural. And it's at this point he rushes in toward her, evading shots, and trying to land a blow.

But Rozalin herself, while not as fast or agile as Adell, manages to backdash away from his strikes, continuing the standstill.]

[She recognizes Adell, but not his opponent. Or the way they're fighting each other. ...They do seem to be evenly matched.

Or they will until she throws her own attack into the mix. Have a few dozen raining icicles, Roz]

[Adell's surprised when the icicles begin falling from the sky, but not as surprised as Rozalin is, having not expected to be ambushed. Her Psynergy rains upon the simulation and it makes a noise of pain before it swings around to find the source of the attack...

And the demon girl quickly takes aim at the only other interloper in the area.

But Adell's not going to let her get that shot off, instead dashing forward and slugging her with a flaming fist. Rozalin flies a few yards away, but lands on her feet.

...She's still up. And she's not looking happy.]

[Not looking happy does sort of make sense. It will be a Glacier this time.]

[A wave of ice cascades over the area again, it damaging Rozalin again. The hologram demon still looks alive and well, though. She's tough.

And she's tired of this barrage of cold things. She leaps back and into the air and fires a bullet into the ground... if Mia doesn't move, she might find herself in a world of hurt.]

[Bullets seem to work like arrows. Projectiles, all of them. So from Mia's perspective, Rozalin missed.

That's why it's such a surprise when the ground around her bursts and sends her flying backwards. Adell may count her out for a while. Imagine her surprise when she finds she's not really all that hurt.]

Mia!!

[Adell can't afford the time to check on her, though. Rozalin quickly draws a bead on him again, but before she can shoot he fires a blast of his own...

A large beam of energy, aimed straight for the demon woman. It'll strike true and explode violently, hopefully giving Mia enough time to get back on her feet...]

[She's a little dazed, but back on her feet she is. Though she has no intention of getting any closer to Adell. Close-range is not her strong point.]

[When the smoke clears, Rozalin is still standing, looking more angry than before. The attack looked like it did some significant damage, bruises and cuts clear on her.

But for now her gaze is away from the dazed Mia. Instead, she focuses on rapid firing shots towards Adell, her aim deadly accurate. Several of the shots graze him as he tries to evade and close the distance again. The shots look as though they're scraping Adell, drawing small amounts of blood with each hit.]

[Truth be told, she's impressed he can avoid being shot down. This time, she'll try to distract that crazy blonde with Serac. The one-hit kill won't take effect...but it's still pretty damaging, usually.]

[Rozalin doesn't see the Djinn attack coming, having made the mistake of taking her eyes off of Mia and getting target fixation on Adell. The iceberg quickly overtakes her and locks her in place...

Which gives Adell the perfect opportunity to shatter it for massive damage. He ignites his fists on fire and begins pummeling his way through the ice, gouts of flame erupting with every swing.]

[He seems to be doing well enough now. She still won't get any closer, unless Adell goes down.]

[Eventually Rozalin breaks herself out of her icy prison, injured, and looking very worse for the wear. All she can do is force Adell to dodge a point blank Proximal Shot as she grows some distance between them.

Injured and exhausted as she looks, Adell watches her as she lets out a sharp laugh.]

[This time the Glacier spreads a wall of ice between Adell and Rozalin, effectively barricading him from attack, at least for a while.]

[The glacial barrier does prevent Rozalin from taking direct aim at him, but at this point, the bloodied demoness doesn't seem intent on aiming directly at him. She steals a glance over to Mia. Yes. This will do just fine. Grinning evilly, she easily leapt upward into the sky.

Adell, for his part, watches her lift off... and he can only guess what's coming. ...He knows it's her best shot.]

Run, Mia! Quick!
