040 [Accidental Video, Action]

[It's Friday morning, one just like any other morning.  Through the journal's camera, it's recording a peaceful looking scene.  It's the inside of Adell's bedroom, it being surprisingly neat and tidy.   The journal is set right next to the bed, where he still slumbers restfully.  But there's something different about this picture than normal

[The loud startled noise rouses Terra from her slumber. Her eyes slowly open...only to see herself.

...wait, then whose body was she---]

--Adell?!

[Of course, he sees himself there in his own bed, and... well. He had been cuddled up to his body and ...]

What the hell is going on now?!

[esper_flight]

[Cue an unAdell-like whimper.]

...not again....

...Again?

And how the heck did you... me?... end up in here, anyway?

[esper_flight]

[Still facepalming.]

I-I don't know...but I was in Ceodore's body until yesterday. I thought it was over and then I went to sleepandwokeuphereandnooffensebutIdon'twanttobeinyourbody.....

[Adell rubs his temples. Or rather, Terra's temples. It's hard for him to keep this straight in his head right now. This is more confusing than being in Thrall's body, because he knew Terra.

For right now, though, he gets out of bed. Thankfully, Terra was wearing a nice, modest long purple nightgown when she went to bed, so that wasn't an issue.

At this point, he takes a very un-Terra like pose, hands folded over his chest in frustration. Of course, dealing with the fact that he had a chest now was weird.]

I'm sorry, Terra. I'm already sick of this experiment, even though this is the first thing that's happened to me. I can only imagine what you must've gone through being stuck in Ceodore's body. It explains why I didn't hear from you, I guess.

...But let me guess. You were also affected by teleportation. Because that crap is going around again. ...I know that much for a fact.

[Sorry, Adell, but Terra is gnawing your lip now.]

Well...a couple of times, yes. Nothing as bad as during that one experiment, thankfully.

[She blushes faintly, trying not to think about it, but now that she mentioned it, some images returned....]

I know it could have been worse, but...I hoped this wouldn't happen again.

[...Well. Those images returned for him too. And he scratches the back of Terra's head nervously, trying not to turn red.]

It sounds like you've had your share of bad luck already...

[Sigh.]

It's been an...interesting few days.

[She reaches up to...well, no, Adell's hair isn't long enough for that. And glancing downward just causes her to jerk her head back up. Not interested in ogling Adell's bare chest, thanks.]

If it's anything like last time, we could be like this for about four days or so.

...Last time I swapped bodies with someone, I was an Orc for a week.

...a what?!

An orc. A tall, green-skinned, burly humanoid kinda thing with tusks. His name was Thrall. He was actually my first neighbor for awhile.

He was a good guy, actually. A shaman, and apparently the leader of his people.

[esper_flight]

...oh, I see. Still, that must have been awkward.

[She bites her -his- lip.]

So, um...can I get dressed?

[It's a little cold to think of going outside in just sweatpants.]

...Huh? Oh. Right. Um. My clothes are in the closet there. Go with whatever.

I'll just... uh. Wait outside, I guess?

[esper_flight]

Right. I'll just be a minute and then--

...I was going to say that maybe we could teleport to my place, but....

[Even if Adell CAN do that right now, Terra's not sure she wants to risk it.]
