...So, the weather's slowly getting colder.  Can't say I'm enjoying that much, but at least Fall's pretty around here.   But to all the New Feathers out there, I suggest starting to get geared up for winter.  It gets pretty cold here once winter gets into full gear, and the last thing you need to do is get sick from it.

Trust me, it's not fun

[Terra enters the lobby, thinking over various scenarios she would like to try, when she spots Adell pacing around with that notebook.]

Adell? What are you doing?

[He looks up from his scribbling, pinged by his name.]

Huh? Oh, hey Terra. I'm uh, just taking notes about this place.

[That gets her attention, and she ignores the console for a bit to peer at said scribbling.]

What have you learned so far?

Well, actually. I'm taking notes about this place to see if I can use it for something.

A concert, specifically.

[esper_flight]

[Okay, she definitely wasn't expecting that answer.]

A...concert? What kind? When?

Well, I'm not sure when, but it's going to be a musical one. I have a lot of prep work to do and think about before it can even happen, but...

...I figured this would be a good place for Luka to be able to perform. It's spacious, there's snacks and drinks in the machines...

It's not a concert hall by any stretch, but it just might work.

Oh, I see! I hadn't thought about this place in that way, but...you're right, it could be useful.

The only thing I'm mildly concerned about is the clinic. A concert would probably be loud, and if the clinic is tending to patients that day, it could cause problems...

I'd have to talk to Dr. McCoy or Dr. Faye-Ling about it.

If that is the case, maybe the barracks could be used? I don't think people use it nearly as often as they did before the battle dome arrived...though it doesn't have the snacks and drinks.

That's a good backup plan. If noise is a huge issue, we can just move it there. With any luck, though, we should be able to work something out here.

The other reason why I'd prefer to do it here is that this place has better heating than the barracks does. It'll probably be close to December before I get this off the ground.

...I can't believe it's almost that time. The year slipped away faster than I thought.

...It really has. I can't believe it myself. Halfway through November already...

And soon, it will be that winter celebration. Christmas, right?

[Thoughtful. She wants to think of something good for that, this time....]

In about a little less than six weeks, I think, yeah. It's the 25th of December.

Hm...we should to something fun for that. I'm not sure what, but at least there's time.

I'm sure we'll have time to come up with some sort of party, gathering, or something along those lines. Really, whatever. I'm flexible!
