037 [Action, Late Evening/Night]

[It has been a long goddamn day for Adell.  Axel in his bed this morning, Terra in his shower later, plus a lot of other strange and unfortunate incidents.  Right now, he's grabbing a soda, his book, and settling down in his room for a nice read.

[How about a desk chair? 'Cause Sora's sprawled out on his bed trying to finish some homework himself - and yes he's dressed - but the desk generally just gets used as a catch-all for whatever he needs to toss on it at the moment.]

[Hey, could be worse, right?]

[Well. At least his chair feels similiarly and Adell sits there for a moment reading his book. Until he reaches for where his soda should be and instead produces a random object from Sora's desk.]

...The hell?

[Why are you holding his baseball glove Adell. But the sound makes Sora yelp in surprise and jump up, because that's not Riku or Kairi or Roxas - once he sees who it is he relaxes a little but still. WEIRD.]

Adell? How'd you get here?

[...Well. That is indeed a baseball glove, not a soda. He shuts his book with a sigh and sets the glove back on the desk where he had removed it from.]

...I blame the Malnosso. They teleported me again.

...Great, experiment time? [It hasn't happened to him yet, but he knows the sounds of an experiment when he hears about it by now.]

What, did you end up somewhere else earlier?

...I've been... all over the place. But yeah, I think this is an experiment, considering people have ended up in my place too.

Just be careful what you do, Sora. It seems like this can happen at any given time.

Wonder why it hasn't hit me yet... [Cause he's usually one of the first to go. Still, if they're giving him a break for once, he's not going to argue.]

[And hey, guests! Or, guest. That book he was working on is closed and tossed onto his pillow as he rolls off the bed.] So, you wanna get a soda or something? Or do you just wanna get out of here?

I can stay for a few minutes, I guess. But I do want to get back home soon.

Provided the jerks let me stay there, of course.

You know they're not now that you've said that. You just cursed yourself! [It's a futile effort, but Sora gives a passing attempt at squashing some of his more unruly hair spikes down as he leads the way out to the kitchen. He grabs an apple out of a bowl and tosses it back to Adell, then finds a banana for himself and starts to peel it.]

Could be worse than ending up in my chair, though. Least you didn't get to the lake.

[That gets Adell to smile while he catches the apple.]

Thanks! And I might have! But yeah, you're right. Could've ended up ten types of bad places. Or I could've ended up in the desert. Or the top of the mountains.

[And he takes a bite of that apple.]

[Aaaaand Sora'll just facepalm.] Or a lot of people could've ended up on you - I don't think I ever wanna see the plaza again.

[Especially with naked guys all over the place.]

I heard the horror stories. You got caught up in that?

Yeah - I didn't get pulled there, but being there when everyone else was was bad enough. So how bad's today been for you?

[And he'll start munching on his banana. A growing boy needs his potassium.]

...There's some of that I just don't want to talk about. But as the day's gone on I've just ended up... all over the place. Here's just the latest in a long string, and I think close... six people have been teleported into my apartment today.

Six? Wow, that's bad. We've only had three, I think, including you. Least one of them wasn't Yuber.

[And Sora tosses the banana peel into the trash can, then leans back against the counter.]

You know, I wonder how long they can keep this going for.
