037 [Action, Late Evening/Night]

Sep 24, 2010 18:50

[It has been a long goddamn day for Adell.  Axel in his bed this morning, Terra in his shower later, plus a lot of other strange and unfortunate incidents.  Right now, he's grabbing a soda, his book, and settling down in his room for a nice read.

Of course.  We can't have that now, can we?  Guess who's at the mercy of Luceti teleportation?  That's ( Read more... )

[Luka wanted to rest for once, even if they don't need to, sometimes a short time of oblivion is welcomed. And Luka has been quite active mentally, some time resting would do her well. However, that she's resting doesn't mean her other personalities have to rest and Luki is indulging in some time for himself. The disguise all in place, as he's more comfortable that way, he's now lying on the rarely used bed, reading a book calmly.

At least, until Adell decides to check his back as a sitting place.]

[And of course, Adell appears on Luki's back randomly and suddenly without warning. Looking up from his book the moment he realizes he's not in a chair he lets out a puzzled noise.]

...Not again. Where am I this time?!

[If he was human Luki would probably complain about the weight and what not. But as things are, all he does is blink and roll his eyes at Adell's presence on his back. He probably should wonder how he ended there but... It's Luceti, Luki has long since decided that it's not worth it to wonder about that. So he remains as he was, being a comfortable chair for Adell, head against a propped elbow and looking at the other from the corner of his eyes.]

Wow, and I thought I was the shameless and direct one in this relationship.

[Adell blinks twice at the voice, then looks down. ...Oh. In a bit of surprise, he scrambles off Luki's back.]

Sorry about that. I don't know how I even got here...

What? Not comfortable enough?

[He moves to sit on the bed though, even if he doesn't feel pain and isn't very bothered by it, Luki doesn't appreciate being under the other that way.]

You don't know? Do you need an excuse to drop by now?

...Well. I guess I got teleported. Again.

And I kind of figured you didn't want to be used as a cushion.

I didn't complain, did I? After all it's not as if I have a chance to get a good feeling of that ass of yours everyday.

[He leans against the headboard of the bed, arms bend behind his head as he eyes Adell.]

Luka is resting at the moment.

[He'll ignore that first part for now.]

I see. Is everything okay?

[You earn a glare for such a stupid question.]

An android with a mechanic brain needs to go to stand by mode to rest and prevent malfunctioning. Does it look as if it's okay to you?

...Makes enough sense. Didn't seem like anything was the matter, but things aren't always as they seem.

[You taught him that much, Luki.]

Your observation skills are still as bad as always, though at least you seem to have gotten some common sense into you finally.

[Your android is worrying about emotions and in denial and you think that it doesn't seem like anything was the matter? Luki's not impressed by you, at all.]

How have you been?

[He wouldn't be impressed either way. Adell doesn't really think nothing's wrong, he just doesn't really get the impression of the severity of Luka's inner conflict beyond confusion.]

It's been a long day. Lost count of how many times I've been teleported. But otherwise, I guess I can't complain. How about you?

Not much to say, it has been quite a regular day at home. No interest in going out, Luka has been doing a major cleaning and what not, around, specially at KAITO's and Gakupo's rooms, even if they aren't used they get dirty too. After that she has spent the day practicing cooking and sewing before deciding that she needed a rest.

Of course, during the whole day her mood has been just as it has been those past days so I suppose you can guess that she has been thinking a lot too.

[And just as always, Adell gets an answer regarding Luka not Luki's own well being.]

[As usual. Honestly though, after the day he's had, he does not feel like arguing that point.]

I've never seen her like she was before. I can only imagine how much thinking she's had to do. I know she's confused and kind of lost about the whole thing... but she has to figure out what's happening to her herself. It's not something that I can rationally explain to her.

Besides, I think the other day proved I can't beat her in a battle of logic. [He scratches the back of his head idly.]

[Luki doesn't mind, it's not himself about whom he wants Adell to care after all.]

I wonder if it's just her to whom you can't win in a battle of logic.

[After all it would be too much to ask for a good amount of logic in a hero-type. It probably would kill major traits of their character.]

I wonder too where you got the idea that you had to explain it to her or beat her in a battle of logic, though. I'm not surprised to see you considering it a fight, thought.

Much as I hate to admit it, there's probably a lot of people I can't beat in a logic battle. Just not really how I work, I guess.

...I'm not sure what I was thinking either. Honestly, it was pretty spur of the moment. I should probably just stick with what I do best, even if it might not make much sense to her.
