yeah it's tough to see the love that's there because so often it's covered up by people who call themselves Christians yet are so hypocritical in their actions, doing things i guess you would call "un-Christian"...that's what drove me away from really believing in the first place...i mean all my life i've been "Christian," but in my heart, i didn't believe in it because of what other people did...i felt like, how i could believe in this when there are all these people doing wrong things and calling themselves "Christian"...or doing wrong things in the name of Christianity...
i mean, the closest example has to be right at school, you see someone proclaim they're some sort of hardcore Christian, then the next minute you see them making fun of someone they think below them...
but then i learned that you know what? it doesn't matter what other people do, think, or say...because what God is about is me, me and Him, Him and me...what other people do shouldn't stop me from getting close to Him...it's kinda like someone spreading rumors about someone you don't know, and you start to get a bad opinion of that person...but when you finally get to know that person, it's like, wow, how could i ever think bad of this person?...you shouldn't judge a person until you get to know them...and that's the same with God...
