I know its been a while since I have posted, but I just wanted to share this with you. I've known about this place for a long time, and I have eaten food from there, but after going there again over the weekend, I was reminded just how great this place is.
Its actually an Indian grocery store that happens to have a counter and a couple tables in back where you can eat food they make. I don't think any dish is over 4 bucks. Katie and I had lunch there, and the total was less than 15 dollars, and this was because we ordered 4 or 5 plates and had way too much food.
The menu is not in english, but don't hesitate to ask the Indian lady to suggest some dishes. I highly recommend the Sev Batata Puri, and their samosas are some of the best I have ever had. The Dhai Vada is tasty also. For a truly authentic experience, forget the knife and fork, and eat with your hands using the Roti (flat bread) to scoop up your food.
This is the place that people from our temple usually get temple lunches and dinners catered from, so you know it has to be good. Just a reminder, this place is all vegetarian, so don't go asking for any chicken curries :)
