So The Joshua Tree is being remastered, and is being released in 3 packages. The CD, The deluxe package, and the Box Set. I want the Box Set.

The Unforgettable Fire was in my opinion the high point of U2's work. After this release and tour (which kicked ass when I saw them at the Meadowlands with opening act Lone Justice) they because popular enough that they got to indulge their artistic impulses to the the detriment of their overall quality. From Josuha Tree on I' have only liked their work on a hit or miss basis. Some has been been really good but overall album by album quality has decreased in my opinion.

Interesting. I would tend to agree. Although The Joshua Tree is still one of my favorites, I like pretty much every song on Unforgettable Fire, and Bad is probably my favorite U2 song ever.

Heh. For some reason I've had a bizarro obsession with Bad lately. There was some U2 thing on VH1 classic on Saturday and I wouldn't leave for dinner until Bad was over.
