Back in Baltimore
I'm here again. I took the red eye out of SFO last night, and woke up in Atlanta around 5:30am. I was wondering around ATL when I ran into my co-worker who was apparently on my flight to Baltimore. It turns out he was sent to Jacksonville instead of me (since I wasn't in the office) this week to fix some issues on board some Navy ship. The had asked me the week before Thanksgiving if I would go down there this week, and I told them I would be happy to as soon as I got back from Cali, but that wasn't soon enough for them.
It actually worked out well since I ended up needing a ride home from the airport anyway.
In other news, I was talking to my dad about what my parents' Christmas plans were this year, and it turns out they are going to Cali for the holidays. Actually, I think I knew this back in August when they bought their tickets, but I sort of forgot about it. So they spent TG here, and I spent it in Cali, and we are swapping for Christmas. Oh well, its not like I don't see them enough as it is.
I know Ania's (my friend Craig's wife) family is coming in from Zimbabwe, so I guess I'll get to see them a bunch over the holidays. When I was in school, I always split my holidays between my parents and Craig's parents, since they kind of thought of me as their adopted son. They usually still have a place set for me.
It actually worked out well since I ended up needing a ride home from the airport anyway.
