Plants and Electrodes
My first yearly purchase was from http://beekman1802.com/, which is the website of the Beekman Boys, a now canceled tv show of two NYC guys who bought a farm in upstate NY (my old stomping grounds). A fun show but it was best for their relationship for it to end. They do, however, sell some nifty things i purchased some Zinnia seeds. They are a lot more than seeds from Homedepot or elsewhere but I thought i would shell out a few more bucks. I will be picking up more zinnias at Homedepot later this month and will be smarter in where they are planted. i hope to get those Swallowtail butterflies back and some other insects to help pollinate the garden.
In sister news, the doctors and nurses somehow convinced my sister to under go electroshock therapy as an additional treatment for her schizophrenia. I am glad she said yes since not much has helped in the past year. I was told she was even smiling when she was beeing brought back to her room, but whether that is a sign of anything more than the anesthesia slowly subsiding, I do not know. So many loose ends with this like paying her bills, her cat and her inability to say no to anyone; she has given hundreds of dollars to people she has met once or twice due to them just asking and has given her phone number out to strangers, thankfully not my mother's number which could put her and others in jeopardy. All for the sake of making sure everyone is "kept safe". Some hope could definitely be used right about now.
