What? Didn't I just return from New York City?
Yeah, you're right. But I had another trip, this time a road trip with friends of mine, in Toronto. It wasn't very long, it was somewhat painful(Doing Québec City-Toronto in one shot is one heck of a drive, trust me), but it was damn worth it.
Hey, we even crossed the kind of schizophrenic maniac I was expecting to see in New York...some crazy old man wearing a tuxedo, walking his dog, calling the three of us "fucking delinquents" at random, then yelling at some guy across the street, saying that he was a psychopath...and finally screaming that he hated the whole city of Toronto for being "crazy motherfuckers". When he got tired of assaulting his imaginary friends, he started giving shit to his dog. Aaah, the joys of those big cities...never get tired of them.
Anyways...the rundown:
- The CN Tower totally owns the Empire State Building, in my own, very humble opinion. They just can't be compared. I'd already been there before, but damn, the visit refreshed my memory.
- Canada's Wonderland is the bomb. I'd spend a whole freaking week in there!
- Why don't we have Red Lobsters in Québec anymore? Those places rock.
- Ontarians are way nicer than anything people from Québec ever led me to believe. According to my "compatriots"(the French-speaking separatist nutcases, that is), Toronto's citizen would probably try to eat me alive as soon as they'd hear my accent. Heck no, they loved me with everything that they are, simply because I made the effort to learn their language and use it properly!
- Ontarians, on the other hand, dunno how to party. God, their bars suck, and what the heck's with having a last call at 2 am, TOPS? TWO freakin AM!!!! What's going on??? No wonder they go nuts whenever they land in Québec City during the Summer!
- Hotels in the Queen City are expensive. Way too expensive.
- We need more Asians and Middle-Eastern ladies in the region of Québec city. They're hot.
Anyways, that's about it, I got a busy afternoon ahead of me.
P.S.: Mister Alva! I have received your package! I bought a little something in Toronto(really isn't much), but I'll try to go to one of those tourist shops in Québec City in coming days, then I'll send you the goodies I found.
By the way, nice handwriting. I couldn't do half as good, although I must admit my hands definitely wouldn't hurt after writing one page :P.
Patience, the package normally SHOULD be sent before September 5th, but I cannot make any promises.
