Well, the results are in, along with
a few pictures. I managed to make it in 3 of them. Can't wait to see our video montage(if the lighting was good enough for a video montage to be possible. Keeping my fingers crossed). They have got to keep that part where I hit my finisher on mister Confusion. Everyone who commented on it sounded like they were telling me it came out like the best wrestling move ever. Then again, I'm the booker, so everyone could very well be ass-kissing like crazy...
As for non-wrestling related business...I forgot to mention I watched Stay last Friday. Was a very decent movie. I'd even say a pretty good one. I finally watched Advent Children, last Sunday night. A gift one of the boys from the wrestling school gave me for my birthday. Unfortunately, the sound cuts off and never comes back about halfway through the damn thing, but I still have my precious subtitles. It's just too bad I can't enjoy the music... My impressions? Not as bad as I thought it would be. They managed to come up with something that wouldn't totally destroy my teenagehood's most insane obsession, and still be entertaining. But it definitely is no 5-star animation movie, very, very far from it. Too bad they made the turks look like a bunch of retards.
Why the fuck is Tseng still alive? I mean, in my subtitled translation, they named that long-haired turk Shiong or something like that, but he looks a shitload like Tseng, and heck, could be the translation that just sucks. Shiong, Tseng...y'know, kinda sounds a bit alike, to me at least. I hope I'm wrong, but if that's old man Tseng, then there definitely is a plot hole around here, cuz he got his ass slugged by Sephiroth in the temple of ancients. And if it's not him, then...
Why does that no-name poser get as much importance as Elena, one of the game's "regular bad guy" characters? Don't give me any Before Crisis crap, please. Before Crisis is a PSP game that hasn't even come out yet(in the entire world, at least), and Final Fantasy 7 was THE game in 1997-1998. Elena was in FF7. Noname guy who looks a lot like Tseng and very well might be Tseng wasn't.
Ok, end of my rant. Advent Children was a very enjoyable animation movie, with totally awesome graphics, interesting music(for the parts that I've HEARD) and great combat animations. But that's all there is to it.
