Gentoo Linux and More...
Finally went into Small Dog to work today. It feels like I haven't been in there in forever haha I did get a lot of work done too. Talked to Troy about getting some certifications. It really sounds like a great idea, the only thing is that I need to find time to do all this stuff haha. He said Amazon.com has some great books for studying.
So after work I went and got Kirsten from her house. Goddamn I do not like her road at all, it's far to confusing for the normal human haha Then we went to Harriets. They really have a nice setup going on over there. It's a smaller barn, but it's wicked nice. The indoor is exactly like the one at Mad River Stables, minus the stalls and the office and little area in the back where they store the tractors and stuff. I would really like to move Nippet there, then I could go riding with Kirsten and Emily. So she got Oxford ready and we went to the indoor. I only stayed and watched for 20 minutes or so. It was just to cold to be sitting there. but it was a lot of fun.
Came home and I've been working with Morgan on that Gentoo box. It's basically done, we just decided like 2 minutes ago we weren't going to update the system packages just yet. This is because of XGL. It's wicked slick GUI stuff. Check out her blog. She should have some screenshots of it up.
Did the rest of my homework/tests for this week. Good stuff...uugh! Hahah
So tonight I might play some WoW. I am only going to do some leveling up because those effing crocodile things keep kicking my ass...it sucks. Hope everyone is well, been trying to keep up with journals!
