Working at Home, Rebuilds and Servers
Wow, what a crazy last couple days. Been working at Small Dog, seeing Nippet, chillen with friends, working on projects and going to see bands at Higher Ground.
So where to start. Work was cool yesturday, worked on xServes and stuff like that. Came home and hung around until my grandparents showed up. I sorta worked on my AMD64 box for a bit, but got bored, cause Windows is teh poopy! Eventually I started getting ready to pick up Keatz at the Exxon so we could head to the show.
I got to the Exxon and he was there waiting. We dropped his car off at his Moms office place and headed up to Higher Ground. I got like 4 voice mails from Emilie haha God she's great LOL Hrmm so we got to the Williston exit and I called Sean so he could leave and meet us there. So we got to Higher Ground around 6:50pm and waited a bit for Sean, he finally showed up and we went in. Right off they gave us shit since Keatz didn't have his ID with him. But they called the tour manager down and he's cool, so we finally got our things and talked to him for a bit. They also gave us shit because we weren't 21 so we couldn't go upstairs but we were like eh whatever we'll talk to Mark and he'll get us up there. Went in and hung out in the ballroom area. Finally we saw Mark and went with him around back. Met up with Keatz' uncle and cousins and shit. I remembered his uncle from the last time we saw DKM at the Palladium. What a great show that was! Anyways, we all hung out for a while, then we got more shit for not being 21 and then Mark and the tour manager made fun of the dumbass security and we finally got to go upstairs. What asshats they are, seriously...haha So we hung out with Dropkick for a while, took advantage of the balcony and it's great viewing-ness haha
We went into the pit for a couple of the first bands and that was fun. Sean got smacked really hard in the face by his friend which sucked but he seemed ok haha Then we went out to McDonalds and had some food which was fun...the opening bands weren't anything special anyways. Then we came back and hung out until DKM came on! We we're in the pit the whole time and it was SOOOOOO CRAZY!!! I almost lost my shoe once, but I managed to keep it on haha Then Sean got kicked out for crowd surfing...but Keatz got him back in. Higher Ground is so strict. it's so lame, how can you have a fucking punk rock show and not allow that sort of thing. It pisses me off!! So I went back up to the balcony and hung out with Keatz' uncle and Marks girlfriend until the end of the show. Snapped a couple pics:
So finally Sean and Keatz came and we hung out, waited around out back and hung with Mark and the fam. They had to go though because they had a 4 hour drive home to play a show today (Tuesday) in North Hampton, MA. So we said bye and thanks for everything!
Then we went to Sean's place and hung out, Mingkus was making some food so we all just talked and stuff until about 12am. Then Keatz and I left and drove home. He slept the whole way until Waterbury and I dropped him off at his Moms place. I came home and basically just crashed haha
Slept until 10am this morning. probably would have been longer if my mom hadn't woken me up. So I got up and took a shower. Then I emailed Troy and told him I wasn't coming in to work and that I was just going to work from home. So I did some TechTails and finally after like an hour of doing that I had to get up and get out haha So I went to see my best friend, NIPPET!! I of course took some pictures:

Some lady named Karen was there and introduced herself. She's seems pretty nice and everything! So I just groomed and picked Nippers feet. Also put that thrush stuff on his hooves since it's really muddy out, BLECH!
Then I came home and worked on more TechTails and my x64 box. Berkey said he was going to go home to do some work and that if I came over and wanted to work on the xServe that would be cool. So I of course said yes. So I worked on my stuff until about 2:20pm and left for his place. Got there and he was down in the basement, I guess he didn't hear me come in and I scared the crap outta him, haha WOOPS! So we went upstairs and started working and stuff. Played with that and many other things until about 5pm I think. It's a good thing I left then because the roads are getting to be really really shitty haha I couldn't see more then about 10ft infront of the car lights.
And now here I am...hanging with Emilie, thinking about a movie, or some more Midori no Hibi...er that reminds me I need to redo my xBox Media Center config file I think. Since I re-did my box many of the directories and stuff has changed. Oh well, I'll get to it, maybe I'll play some Ocarina of Time, better yet, maybe I'll just kick it with the girlfriend haha Alright, peace out!
