(no subject)
So here I sit,
my insomnia is , at an all time low, I guess its a type of imnsomnia, I have 2 dr appointments in the morning, one for the neck and one for whats attached to the top of my neck. I've never really trusted shrinks before, almost to the point of hatred. I got done wrong by one after the death of my first wife and frankly I don't (well didn't)have the use for one. here it is 16 years later and I have begun to trust one again..... boy do I carry a grudge...Talk about issues.
anyway just an update on the brother situation: He is doing fine after nearly three months in the hospital (off and on for the last couple of weeks) he has been homes, still doesn't have a skull but he is able to walk eat and fart all on his own. His speech is improving every day, now he only forgets how to say some words . and he is probably reading ..... well he is still on the Dick and Jane level but that will come back with time.. he is still the same brother as before just part of him can't quite get out.
Officer Pedeferri is now in Colorado at the Craig institute, one of the best spinal cord injury rehab centers in the country. He was off of the ventilator before flying out to CO but has been put back on it O2 is a little thin up there no work on the actual extent of his injuries except for broken ribs, busted up shoulder , bruises internaly (on various organs) and the spinal injury. It's wierd, somebody that I don't know I care more about whether or not he lives or dies and other people I have known most of my life I don't give a crap about. Whats with that? Maybe some folks are right I should become a police officer again............. been thinking strongly about this one... If I could find a department that would hire someone that is almost 40.
The Estrella War is upon us looking forward to seeing all the people that I care for and haven't got to see as of late. Somebody asked me recently if I was regretting moving out here. I had to laugh then i really thought about it, and could only come up with one answer, nope
I got a great understanding girl friend and a beutiful daughter out of the deal. gotta goget some sleep
