I have not updated in quite a while, so to you my dear reader, I apologize. Actually I'm not so pompous as to think that anyone but myself reads this page, lest you think my ego is inflating.
I had one heck of a good weekend, that's for sure. On Friday, Ashley and I went to a fantastic Mexican restaraunt named Acapulco's in Fairfield, and it was delicious. After gorging ourselves South-of-the-border style, we went back to my place and took a nap. When I woke up, I got ready and greeted the Z-Man, Zak Werneke, who was in town for Simon/Mike & Rachel's wedding. We went out to BW3 with Ashley and met up with Tiff/Dr. Phil & friend, Lara and Brandi. Z and I drank, the girls talked, and much fun was had. Saturday was....interesting. It was great to see a couple that you saw hooking up 4 years earlier getting married, made even more enjoyable when both the bride and groom are very close personal friends of yours. It was a beautiful wedding and a fun reception, even though I ran into a few people I would have rather not seen. I had to work on Sunday, and it was sad to say goodbye to Zak (he stayed with me in WC Friday and Saturday).
This past weekend really made me miss my old friends.... a lot.
