Here be some Holiday-ness...whee!

barbossas_wench. And like caz, I thought it was a really good idea. Wait a few days, go through the flist, see if there’s anything that can be done to make someone smile a little. Heh. This shouldn’t be a x-mas thing either, especially for those of us who aren't Christian. Call it a winter treat. It should be done year round though...maybe seasonal?
Step One
Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
Surf around your friends list (or friends friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part: If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf-to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not-it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
1. I'd really like to have a few well done House on Haunted Hill banners and icons just for my new alternate lj
fallen_grandeur. A couple funny ones would be awesome (like at the end when Geoff's character, Stephen Price, says "So much for a degree in engineering." That's such a funny part! Yeah, that film scares the hell out of me, yet I have some sick fascination with it. Yeah...)
2. I really want a House on Haunted Hill mood theme just for that lj also. It would really fit.
3. I really, really want a good Barbossa boot banner or two so I may display my love for Barbossa's boots. LOL.
4. Barbossa's pendant.
5. I want more Barbossabeth fic! Gods, there just isn't enough to satisfy me addiction!
6. I'd love to have a charcoal grey Ford Explorer Sportrac...with a good sound system.
7. I really want a bunch of Geoffrey Rush dvds: Lantana, Swimming Upsteam, Shine, Mystery Men, and Elizabeth.
8. I really, really, really want every season of Star Trek: Voyager!!!!
9: I am desperately wanting a Chakotay icon(s) and/or banner(s). A funny one, would be nice...and just some general Voyager icons would be nice, too...
10. And I really want a Holodeck...*sigh*.
*Sigh* I think my House on Haunted Hill fascination is getting a little worse. And my Voyager obsession and love is getting a bit out of control...heh.
